Need Some Self Isolation Selfie Help?
It may be a time for self-reflection, it's true. We don't know about all you lovelies, but it's also been a time for selfies (cuz, you know, there's no one else around to take your picture).
We asked our resident Twang Gang selfie expert, Teile, to help us all out, so you can be cute all day every day on all your social feeds.
Tip 1 - Head Shots
Always lift your chin up and level your phone with your forehead.
Tip 2 - Accessories Feature Shots
If you want your hat, jewellery or isolation hairdo to be the focus of the shot, don't smile and look away from the camera.
Tip 3 - Full Body Shots (the granddaddy of selfies)
Bend one knee and lean into your straight leg or lunge until you fit in the pic.
Hamming it up with a wide mouth smile or a smirk works best.
Pick a neutral non-busy background.
Use portrait mode on your phone with studio light.
Best light is early or late in the day, avoid full sun.
Use Snapseed for photo editing and Colour Story for filters.
Now go get your self love on!
